Hi Elina - Really enjoyed watching your content!! Great Stuff. Just wondering what your process is with regards to filming / editing and presenting your work? - Do you film and save all your content while on these huge adventures and then edit once you get home and in front of a PC? - or, do you edit while on the road / trail and post as you go? - if so, what do you carry with you to make all this possible? Cheers :)

Its been 4 years, when i start watch this beautiful video, my soul on those mountaineering, hiking is calling de@dly, one of my dream is to join this trail, good luck for my country Myanmar, its still unstable in every condition, believed to hike our dreams......

I watched the whole series 5 years ago and randomly stumbled across this video today! I remember when I watched the series for the first time, I felt like I knew everyone so well. It was so good to see them all and hear what they're up to. And I echo what everyone else has commented: watching you hike the PCT made me feel like I could take on anything hard and come out the other side. I watched the series when I was studying hard and struggling to get into medical school, and now, here I am, five years later finishing my second year of med school! Hard things can be achieved. Thank you so much, Elina. Your work, your challenges, your beauty....it's all such a gift and I am just happy to be able to partake in a small piece of it.

I am pretty sure that making that much noise in a Ryokan in the morning was VERY popular. Right up there with walking with wooden clogs on tatami. When I lived in Japan I used to love Ryokans. There is nothing like the smell of Nattō in the morning 🤭. Very nice video.

Well done. So proud of you. And bringing us along with you adds another fine accomplishment A fact you may not know is, the over all elevation is equivalent to climbing My Everest 14 times. Combined with The Te Araroa is 9.5 times. Magnificent feat. Well done girl. You rock.

It's quite crazy how different the Sierra-section can be. In the vid 'The art of walking' from Austin Seder from 2021, the Sierra-chapter is entitled 'Easy livin' (almost no snow at the same time).

HI Elina. I recently discovered a song which made me think of you, because you're great at incorporating music into your videos (thanks to you I discover Prince of Spain's "Explore"). The song is "Hi Ren", and to me, in regards to you, is it's a song of camaraderie between creative people who have the courage to persist and share their meaningful work with the world. On another level, it's about the struggle of being human and how to gracefully navigate life. The song popped off a year ago, so you might have already heard it, but if not I think you'll find it moving and inspiring. I hope life treats you kindly and best wishes.

You are all so young. I am doing everything opposite of you, where I did all my athletic challenges when I was younger, and want to do my first “major” thru-hike in the PCT after retiring. I would love to have learned the lessons you all learned on the PCT at the age you learned them.

As someone who's hikes all over the Sierra's, I have to say they do not end at Kennedy North. They get lower, but its still the Sierras. Otherwise, nice videos.

No way… thats 5 years already ? For me your movie was absolutly life changing moment. It grow Inside of me for two year when i was rewatching it every few months. After that i decide to change everything and move to Canada. Now i still thinking how i promised myself that when i would be lost In life i have to go and do some long thruhike. Te araroa is still calling today and i think next year would be the year. Thank you for your amazing journey and great videos. Thank you.
